Experimental

It’s a image created inside the camera. They meaning is clear and they are containing new information. Good technical image should be taken from many points of view, more important is quantity than quality.

These are pictures taken over and over again in the same or very similar way. Does not contain any new information, they are unnecessary and boring. Just another pretty photo from instagram.

Experimental image is an image that is never completely true or false. The interpretation is very wide and not obvious. Experimental photographers are trying to create unexpected information

In my work I try to start a conversation with the viewer about my past. It is a melancholic view of oblivion. I try to represent this vision through a physical experience with the photograph itself, trying to delete everything recognizable and replacing it with images that remind us of a surreal world that does not exist. It is a way to create a false memory through old photographs of my family.

For the process I tried different techniques with different papers (gramage, color, size). Also I have tried to include real paint in the composition just to give a more realistic result to the final photos.

The photos are edited with memories that each photograph transmitted to me. For example the flowers are related to the relation of my parents, because they used to work selling them, and it´s a way to explain the weak figure of my mother against my dad.
